How long does one refill last?

Think of pheromones as a spray from a sprinkler.

One diffusor “waters” roughly 700 sq ft in open air; hedges (curtains) and fences (walls) block reach. Big "yards" or multiple zones need additional "sprinklers" for full coverage, our recommended amounts are:

• A small flat is usually fine with just 1

• One / Two story houses, Open-plan apartments, and multi-cat homes will need minimum 2–3

• 3,000+ sq ft+ typically need 4–5+ units

Remember to plug it in where your cat actually hangs out, so the “calm signal” reaches everywhere your cat actually hangs out.

Day 1

The environment starts “soaking” in pheromones. Your cat may sniff the area; no instant change is expected, but some homes notice slightly fewer fresh marks.

Day 3–5

A noticeable shift for many homes: rest, eating and play get easier; territorial patrols shorten. The majority report a clear reduction in new spraying. Some newer/less-stressed sprayers stop entirely at this stage.*

End of Week 1

Most cats look significantly less stressed—more playful, more social, fewer stare-downs. If spraying persists, it’s usually in cats with longer histories of stress; they’re improving, but need more time.

End of Week 2

The vast majority are now spray-free or down to rare incidents. For tougher cases, frequency has dropped markedly; keep placements consistent and continue deep-cleaning any old scent cues.

After Month 1+

The Overwhelming majority of households will see no spraying, from this point on. If your cat still marks regularly, there is additional factors to address—e.g., untreated medical issues (UTIs, cystitis, pain/arthritis), strong outdoor-cat triggers, litter box setup (count, location, substrate), or unresolved inter-cat conflict. Keep the diffusers running and speak with your vet/behaviourist for a layered plan (environment + health + behaviour).

Our diffuser is odourless to every living thing, however some plug types will admit a heating smell, this is out of our realistic control, however is completely normal!

• Avoid multi-adapters/extension reels that run warm
  
• If you ever notice a burning smell or unusual heat, unplug and contact support, we are happy to replace any faulty products, although we dont often need to.
